Refund and Return Policy

This Refund and Return Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through Maison Noir (the “Store”), operated and powered by Shopify. By placing an order with Maison Noir, you agree to the terms set forth in this Policy, in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • We accept returns of all products within seven (7) calendar days from the date of delivery.
  • To be eligible for a return, products must be:
    • Unused, unopened, and in their original packaging;
    • Accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation, or similar documentation).

2. Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items

Certain categories of products are not eligible for return, including but not limited to:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or tampered with;
  • Items marked as “final sale” or promotional items;
  • Gift cards and other non-tangible products.

3. Refunds

  • Full refunds will be issued to the original payment method for approved returns, excluding shipping charges unless otherwise stated in this Policy.
  • Refunds will be processed within seven (7) to ten (10) business days after receipt and inspection of the returned item.

4. Return Shipping and Costs

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged upon delivery, or incorrect.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except where otherwise required by law.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

  • In the event that you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us at hello@maisonnoir.ae within seven (7) calendar days of delivery.
  • Maison Noir will cover the costs of return shipping and issue either:
    • A full refund, or
    • Credit equal to the purchase amount (excluding delivery cost).

6. Geographic Scope

  • This Policy applies exclusively to purchases delivered within the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
  • International returns are not accepted at this time.

7. Processing of Refunds and Returns

  • All returned products are subject to inspection upon receipt. Maison Noir reserves the right to deny refunds or exchanges if the returned item does not meet the eligibility conditions stated in this Policy.
  • Approved refunds will be credited only to the original method of payment.

8. Amendments

Maison Noir reserves the right to amend, update, or modify this Policy at any time, in accordance with applicable law. Any changes will be effective upon posting on our website and will apply to purchases made after the effective date of such changes.
